Duquesne Light has been working on a power outage in the area since last night. In addition to transformer issues, workers are working on power lines in the area of Willow Ave, Rockwood Ave and Upper Willow Ave.

Traffic restrictions and rolling road closures are expected until the problems are resolved.

Please avoid the area if possible.

A bicycle was found and is currently in the police department possession. If you have had a bike stolen or is missing please contact Sgt. Hudson to describe your bike and see if it is the one recovered today.

With the threat of high winds and rain Bellevue Borough has decided to move Trick or Treating to Sat 11/2 from 6pm to 8pm.

Due to the threat of inclement weather and the potential safety effects on trick or treating, Officials in the  Borough of Castle Shannon have  moved the community trick or treating event to Saturday November 2, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm.

We will be participating in the Drug Take Back this Saturday.
