Grove Rd Closure at Willow this weekend (Mar 18-19,2023)

The Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) emergency repair work this weekend is expected to run from 7am-11pm Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Please avoid the area if at all possible. NO ACCESS to that intersection will be allowed while crews remove the track bed. Detours are Rte 88 to Castle Shannon Blvd to Poplar to Chestnut or Arch/Columbia/Sleepy Hollow (and reverse).

Pittsburgh Regional Transit -Emergency Rail Work moved to Weekend of 3-18 and 3-19-23

PRT will be conducting emergency rail work at the LRT intersection/crossing Grove Road at Willow Ave on Saturday March 18 and Sunday March 19, 2023 from 7am-7pm.

The intersection will be completely closed while they access the rail bed.

Alternate routes are Library Rd to Castle Shannon Blvd to Poplar to Arch and Sleepy Hollow Rd and the reverse.

Please avoid the area if possible.

Please lock your car every time all the time!

We have thefts from unlocked vehicles. Our neighboring communities suffer the same crimes of opportunity.

If someone really wants to get into your car, they probably can, even if it is locked, but why make it easy for them?

Remove valuables from cars, especially KEYS and GUNS!! Yep, we have to remind our neighbors not to store GUNS in unlocked cars and not to leave the keys in the car.

Please lock your car.

Lock Your Cars!

Over the weekend, in the surrounding areas there were numerous vehicles stolen. Most of them had keys left inside the vehicles. Please lock your vehicles. We cannot harp on that enough, LOCK YOUR VEHICLES!!! Thank you for your cooperation!
