On Sunday June 19, 2022 at approximately 1820 hours the Glassport Police Officers on duty were responding to a call non emergent. While traveling east up 5th Street a patrol vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection of 5th and Ohio. The Officer in the patrol vehicle was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was not taken to the hospital. After reviewing video it shows the second vehicle was traveling South on Ohio. The video continues to show the vehicle not stopping at the posted stop sign at 5th and Ohio before proceeding through the intersection. Vehicles can be replaced, people cannot. Please be cautions and smart while driving.
