The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) hold a media event to discuss the dangers of drowsy driving, which can be as dangerous as driving under the influence of alcohol. PennDOT has partnered with the Bellevue Police Department and Lincoln Bakery to bring awareness, by introducing a campaign called “Donut Drive Drowsy”. Lincoln Bakery has offered customers a three-day promotion for a discounted coffee with the purchase of a dozen donuts, encouraging motorists to stay alert while behind the wheel. 

WHAT: PennDOT and Bellevue Police will partner with a local bakery to discuss the dangers of drowsy driving.
