LIFE IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES......

Go ahead finish the line! If you haven't seen the movie, that's un-American!  Forrest would find a way to muscle through the quandary we find ourselves, oh and the real Forrest beat the bug already.  Keep up the good work....we are doing okay as a community.

A number of topics came to light.  The first is related to garbage collection and the changes made by Waste Management.  In a previous message from Waste Management, they indicated they would not be collecting bulk items.  We are asking everyone to bring items not being collected back onto your properties until WM reinstitutes full service.  We understand items may pile up and hopefully, this will only last for a couple more collection cycles.

The police department has been receiving information from Federal and local criminal justice agencies regarding scams related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Unfortunately, shady people do not go away even during a national emergency.  We have attached a PDF document from the Allegheny County District Attorney in regard to COVID19 scams.

Also attached is the daily situation report (SITREP) from Allegheny County EOC.  We will make an effort to get these reports out as much as possible going forward.

I stepped out of the area last night and took a peek at Sam's Club.  First, the store was almost empty of shoppers around 6:30 pm.  I could not find a piece of toilet paper or any cleaning products but the food was plentiful.  The message from the store managers was to give them time to restock the shelves and they are holding true to that statement.

Stay well,

Bellevue Strong
