STIMULUS PAYMENT PROTECTION

We are going to make this short and sweet, don't fall for IRS or any other scams.  The IRS will never call you regarding money owed or trouble with accounts, etc.  If any financial organization needs to do business with you they should have methods for you to access your information online with high-security access.  If you receive a call ask them to send you a notification certified and do not provide them your address.  If this is a bonified company they will already have your address and personal information.  There are many evil people in the world and there is a huge opportunity to run scams with the amount of money being distributed during the pandemic.

Most of these scams are conducted by organizations and individuals outside the United States.  If you become a victim to one and send them money it will be nearly impossible to receive restitution or prosecute the persons responsible. The links below should cover most of the popular scams taking place.
