It is with a deep heart that we report the passing of one of our longtime police department staff members Fred Fischer.  Fred has served the Bellevue community for many years, starting as a dispatcher for the Bellevue PD and other North Boroughs Departments.  Following the transition to county dispatch, Fred remained on board managing our parking authority and administrative roles.  Fred not only served law enforcement, but his passion and dedication was also his service to the Avalon VFD.  He will be missed by many, RIP Fred.
