We want to advise everyone that if you park on a sidewalk in Brentwood Borough, please stop or find another location to park.  

Recently on 11/20/2023, Brentwood Borough Council voted to approve Ordinance 2023-1316 to amend Chapter 180 as it pertains to "Sidewalk Obstructions."  This ordinance was made to promote safe pedestrian ingress and egress as well as to minimize hazards for pedestrians and motorists which are created by pedestrians walking on public streets.  During the month of December, if in violation you may receive a courtesy warning notice on your vehicle.

Everyone is encouraged to park off the street if possible.  This helps ensure you and your neighbors receive the best possible services from your first responders and from the Department of Public Works.  If you do need to park on the street, please keep all 4 tires on the roadway and off of the sidewalk.

The borough appreciates everyone's cooperation in this matter.
