After closing the playgrounds at Borough parks earlier this week, Borough officials find it necessary to close all parks until further notice.

This step is taken to further stress the importance of social distancing. The COVID-19 cases in Allegheny County more than doubled over the past 3 days to 133, including cases in Mt Lebanon, Baldwin Borough and Scott Township.

Contact sports, like basketball surely put players as risk of exposure...and therefore anyone having contact with those subjects are potentially in danger.

Walking trails in the parks will remain available as long as social distancing measures are taken.

Please act as if you are contagious and take every precaution espoused in previous messages.
