The Castle Shannon Police Department maintains reports of incidents, citations, and accidents. The records department is responsible for the filing and distributing reports to the public and law enforcement agencies through proper procedures when they are requested. The procedures in the right of privacy and criminal procedures are followed.
All checks for fees should be payable to Castle Shannon Borough.

INCIDENT REPORTS
Reports of incidents the police officers answer are on file. Some reports will not be issued if under investigation. Photo identification must be submitted and the fee is $15.00 upon the Chief's approval.
TOW RELEASES
The administrative assistant is available Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM and can issue tow releases for vehicles towed by the Castle Shannon Police Department. Vehicles are released to vehicle owners ONLY. In some cases a vehicle owner can issue a signed/notarized permission letter. Valid photo identification must be shown.
The Castle Shannon Police Department does not issue tow or impound fees. The fees of tow or impound are the responsibility of the tow agency.
