COVID Cases – 1,035 (+26)
This number includes 1,019 confirmed and 16 probable cases. A case is probable when the person displays symptoms of COVID-19 and has had close contact with a confirmed positive case but has not had a test themselves. We are including probable cases to better assess the level of community spread. Further breakdown of the cases will be available on the dashboard this coming week.
The ages, as well as the percentage of cases represented, of those in the county with COVID-19 are listed below.
00-04 – 2 (less than 1%)
05-12 – 4 (less than 1%)
13-18 – 10 (1%)
19-24 – 78 (8%)
25-49 – 368 (36%)
50-64 – 291 (28%)
65 + -- 282 (27%)
The gender of those with COVID-19 are listed below:
Female – 560 (54%)
Male – 475 (46%)
Of the 1,035 cases, there are 180 past or present hospitalizations (+2).
To date, there have been 50 deaths (+3) with 46 confirmed and 4 probable. All deaths are of individuals ranging in age from 56-103, with 85 being the median age of those who have died.
We continue to extend our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of those who have lost loved ones, and our thoughts go out to all those who have been impacted.
