Good Afternoon Keystone Oaks Students, Staff and Families,
This week, Allegheny County reached the substantial level of community transmission of COVID-19, as defined by the CDC. The CDC recommends that all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, wear face coverings in indoor settings. Effective Friday, August 6, 2021, masks will now be required for everyone in all Keystone Oaks buildings.
Please note that this requirement can change at any time, based on the level of community transmission or mandates from the CDC, the PA Department of Health, the PA Department of Education, or the Allegheny County Health Department. The District will continue to review data and work with health officials to update its Health & Safety Plan prior to the start of the 2021-2022 school year. We will provide additional communication regarding the mitigation measures that will be in place to start the school year within the next few weeks.
Thank you,
William P. Stropkaj, Ed.D.
Superintendent
Keystone Oaks School District
