Castle Shannon Police took a report of a prowler in a dark jacket trying vehicle door handles after 11pm on Tuesday March 16, 2021 in the area of Myrtle Ave and Pine Ave.

Officers responded and did identify subjects in the area generally fitting the description of the actors.

Please check your surveillance video and report any potential evidence to the Castle Shannon Police Department.

This is an opportunity to remind residents to LOCK vehicles, even if they are parked in your driveway. It also a good idea to remove valuables from parked cars.

These criminals have been known to find wallets, weapons, credit cards, cash and even vehicle keys left in unlocked cars. Many times the thieves have stolen the unlocked vehicle.
