In addition to the summer road resurfacing being undertaken by the Borough on some of side streets, we have several other road projects coming up in the Borough in coming weeks:
PennDOT will be replacing/repairing concrete sections of Castle Shannon Blvd between the Mt Lebanon border and Willow Ave. Traffic will be affected by the use of alternating traffic lanes from August 20 through late September in this area.
Port Authority will be repairing the LRT tracks at Cooke Lane and on Mt Lebanon Blvd the first and third weekends in September. Traffic will be affected by the closing of Cooke Lane the weekend of September 6-8. Traffic will be detoured via Mt Lebanon Blvd and Castle Shannon Blvd. Mt Lebanon and Castle Shannon Police will be on hand to assist.
Mt Lebanon Blvd will be closed the weekend of September 20-22 at Cooke Lane. Traffic will be diverted via Cooke Lane to Mt Lebanon Blvd. Mt Lebanon and Castle Shannon Police will be on hand to assist.
Columbia Gas is working in the area of Mt Lebanon Blvd and Hoodridge Dr this week. Some of the aforementioned work will occur in the overnight hours to alleviate traffic congestion.
