Dear resident and visitor to the CSPD website www.csboro.com
What a week!
As we close out the first week of Pandemic preparedness and response, we at CSPD would like to reach out and THANK YOU for your response to, what are certainly, unusual times.
We THANK YOU for your cooperation with social distancing.
We THANK YOU for your support of local businesses.
We THANK YOU for only traveling out, when necessary, to shop for food or heading to work.
We THANK YOU for suspending business if you have a non-life sustaining operation.
Today will be a nice day weather wise.
We ENCOURAGE you to get out and exercise or just to get some fresh air. (practicing social distance)
We ENCOURAGE you to socialize virtually.
We ENCOURAGE you to use the Keystone Oaks drop off lunch sites during the week.
We ENCOURAGE you to visit our website for good resource information, as opposed to other social media which are providing inaccurate information.
Please be assured that the Borough of Castle Shannon is open for business, insofar as operations to provide services. Albeit, a lot of business will be conducted remotely, by phone or email. Please call 412.885.9200 M-F during business hours if you have questions or needs that cannot wait until this emergency is over.
The Castle Shannon Police Department is open for business. Our officers continue to be available 24/7 for emergencies. We will respond to calls for service as appropriate, but some calls may be handled by phone or email. (We launched an on-line reporting tool this week). ALWAYS dial 9-1-1 for EMERGENCIES.
If you have questions or concerns that have not been addressed through our messaging, my contact information follows.
Stay calm, stay safe and if you can, please Stay Home!
We appreciate you... and we WILL get through this together!
