Castle Shannon Police have been inundated with reports of solicitors in the Borough without permits. Our recent police blotters show that we have made several arrests for this ordinance violation.

Please do not report these incidents to social media. Call 911 to have patrols respond in real time and identify the violators.

Solicitors in Castle Shannon must have Borough Permits prominently displayed. These permits will have their photo and the Police Department Letterhead and/or symbol/patch.

Residents who do not wish to receive solicitors, canvassers, political visits, etc... may post a sign indicating same. Sample may be downloaded from the pd website csboro.com.
