ACHD has received confirmation of one new COVID-19 case in Allegheny County, and reports of three other presumptive positive cases. The contact tracing, including information gathering, is just underway on these cases. As a result, no further information is available at this time. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to seven, along with three presumptive positive cases.

Again, non-essential businesses in Allegheny County are being asked to close for at least 14 days to limit the spread of the virus through personal contact and surfaces. The goal with this recommendation is to further emphasize social distancing.
