Today, we pause to honor the memories of the innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001. This tragic event will forever be etched in our collective consciousness, and we remember the bravery, sacrifice, and resilience of the first responders, emergency personnel, and ordinary citizens who risked everything to save others.
We pay tribute to the victims and their families, and we reaffirm our commitment to promoting unity, understanding, and peace in the face of adversity. May we continue to strive for a world where such senseless acts of violence are never forgotten, and where we work together to build a brighter, safer future for all.
Let us take a moment to reflect on the significance of this day, and to recommit ourselves to the values of compassion, empathy, and kindness that define our community.
The Castle Shannon Police Department joins the nation in remembering and honoring the fallen heroes of 9/11. We stand united in our resolve to protect and serve our community, and to ensure that the sacrifices of that fateful day are never forgotten. We are grateful to our emergency services partners for continuing the tribute, by way of the static display constructed by the Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department at Grove and Library Roads. Thank you Chief Reffner(s)!
