The resident reports that they secured their home around 1130pm on Wednesday evening March 29, 2023.

 

When they awoke on Thursday morning, they discovered that unknown actor(s) had entered the home without force. It is suspected they used the front door with a key and/or the door wasn't secure.

 

Actor(s) entered an occupied bedroom and took boxes which contained cash and jewelry. The boxes were forced open, contents emptied, and they were left in the front yard.

 

Residents in the area are asked to check overnight surveillance cameras for suspicious activity and contact CSPD with information.

 

This is another opportunity to remind residents to lock vehicles and homes when retiring for the night. Motion lights are helpful deterrents, as are surveillance cameras and residential alarm systems.
