Castle Shannon Blvd construction to resume May 11, 2020

Gulisek Construction, LLC is currently under contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for the above reference project and will be performing work on SR 3037 Castle Shannon Blvd from Mt. Lebanon Blvd to Sunset Dr.

This work involves concrete pavement patching and drainage improvements. This work is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 11th and will require daily lane restrictions between 7 am and 3 pm, Monday through Friday. For a few weeks a single lane of traffic will be closed around the clock. Every day from 3 pm until the following morning at 7 am at least one lane in each direct will be opened to traffic No work other than cleanup and traffic tear down will be happening between 10 pm and 7 am.

Additionally, there will be three (3) weekend-long, single-direction detours, with the first detour being scheduled for May 22-23, weather permitting. The detours will be implemented at 9 am on Friday and continue until 10 pm on Saturday; however, no work will be performed between 10 pm and 7 am. During these detours, traffic will be permitted to travel from Mt. Lebanon Blvd. toward Sunset Drive. Traffic travelling from Sunset Drive toward Mt. Lebanon Blvd. will be detoured via Rt. 19 - Washington Road to Mt. Lebanon Blvd. and back to Castle Shannon Blvd.

Please be mindful of changing traffic patterns, use caution while travelling though this corridor and pay attention to the Flaggers, who will be assisting you through the work zone.
