The Castle Shannon Police Department is pleased to announce the promotion of Sergeants Justin Majors and Dan Janeda. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Borough Council meeting on September 8, 2025, where Mayor Baumgarten administered the oath of office.

Both Sergeants Majors and Janeda have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and dedication to our department. They have previously served as Field Training Officers and held other key positions within the CSPD. We are proud of their achievements and the entire CSPD team.

We wish Sergeants Majors and Janeda success in their new roles and look forward to their continued contributions to our department and the community.
