District Attorney sponsors unwanted medication disposal at lebanon shops pharmacy!
A new medication disposal site has been added in the community, at the Lebanon Shops Pharmacy at 300 Mt Lebanon Boulevard, thanks to the financial support of Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala
These disposal sites are an important component in our multi-pronged approach to fighting drug abuse.
The anonymous take-back receptacles allow our citizens to dispose of unwanted medications to prevent misuse and diversion.
Disposal points are also valuable in that unwanted drugs are disposed of in an environmentally conscious way. Flushing medication and chemicals contaminates our water supply!
You may drop off any solid prescription medications during the pharmacy’s normal business hours at this self-service kiosk. Please…. NO NEEDLES and no liquids.
In addition to the Honorable District Attorney, the police department would like to acknowledge the owners and staff at Lebanon Shops Pharmacy for participating in this worthwhile program.
