Safely Return Unwanted Medication
CSPD will be at Asti's Pharmacy on Mt. Lebanon Boulevard and The Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department on Library Road to safely accept unwanted medications. Saturday, June 13th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Drug Take-Back Events and medication drop-off points are an important tool in our efforts to keep dangerous drugs away from our kids. It is also a safe and environmentally responsible manner in which to dispose of these harmful substances.
Therefore, The Castle Shannon Police Department and Asti’s Pharmacy will be sponsoring a drug-take back opportunity on Saturday, June 13th from 10 am-2 pm. Officers will be located at the Castle Shannon Fire Department on Library Road and Asti’s Pharmacy on Mt Lebanon Boulevard to collect your unwanted medication in an anonymous and contact-less environment.
If any CASTLE SHANNON residents are unable to make it to the event on June 13th, they may contact us to make arrangements for an in-home pick up (firstname.lastname@example.org or 412-885-9300 Ext 116). Also, upon reopening of the Borough building, a drug box is located in the lobby of the municipal building during normal business hours.
